To ask, "what were they thinking" is rhetorical, but I always do. Even when empirical evidence confirms they just ... aren't. It's encouraging to see I'm not the dullest knife in the drawer.
Mr. Welch I am on board with that. In my childhood I noticed that people are stupid, been waiting my whole life to give the human race a Grand Slam Darwin award.
Earlier in my life I had hoped that certain Cataclysmic Events might steer the ship of fools, like putting a hole in the ozone layer, or discovering islands of plastic garbage in the oceans, Or learning that humans + domestic livestock = 90+% of all Mammal bio mass on earth.
So many many wake up calls snoozed through, I am giving the human race Darwin award that's for sure
